From Golf Greens to Snowy Hills — My Life in Motion

 

 

My name is Mark, and I am nine years old. I live in St. Petersburg, Russia, with my mom and dad. We are a small but very happy family. We also have a cat named Timka. He has black and white fur and loves to sleep on the windowsill.

I study at a private school in Pervomayskoye, and I really like it there. Every morning, my mom drives me to school, and sometimes we listen to music in the car. My favourite subjects are English and PE because I like learning new words and playing sports. I have three good friends at school — Sofi, Dennis, and Dusiya. We often play together during breaks and laugh a lot.

I go to two sport schools — one for golf and another for alpine skiing. I have been playing golf for a few years, and I like how it helps me stay calm and focused. Alpine skiing is my favourite sport because I love speed and snow. When I go down the slope, I feel free and happy.

 

 

I also enjoy playing tennis in my free time. Sometimes my family and I go skiing together on weekends. My dad is very good at skiing, and my mom takes funny photos of us. I like spending time at home too, watching movies or playing games with my friends.

 

 

When I grow up, I want to be an athlete and travel around the world. I think life is more interesting when you keep learning and trying new things. I am happy with my life and thankful for my family, my friends, and my cat Timka.
